Patrick Holkins Associate

Patrick Holkins joined Gilbert in 2024. He represents major companies, creditors’ committees, and others in complex civil litigation and bankruptcy proceedings. He has experience litigating high impact matters under a range of federal statutes and in jurisdictions across the country. Patrick has led pre-litigation investigations, argued and defended numerous depositions, authored significant briefs, and appeared and argued in federal court, including at trial.

Prior to joining Gilbert, Patrick was a trial attorney in the Civil Rights Division of the U.S. Department of Justice. He clerked for the Honorable A. John Pelander of the Arizona Supreme Court.

REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS

  • Representing the official committee of tort claimants and future claims representative in Chapter 11 bankruptcy and adversary proceedings to recover insurance proceeds for the benefit of personal injury claimants.
  • Assisting a Fortune 500 company in securing insurance coverage for third party patent infringement claims.
  • Representing a consumer products manufacturer in litigation to recover $75 million in insurance proceeds.
  • Representing individual who endured torture at the hands of a foreign government in litigation against his former employer.
