Lisa Evans E-Discovery Counsel

Lisa has extensive experience advising top global companies and law firms in eDiscovery.  With over 13 years of experience, she began her eDiscovery journey with an AmLaw 100 firm working on a multi-billon dollar international securities law case.  Supervising teams domestically and internationally, Lisa gained invaluable experience in eDiscovery.

While traversing the globe with her active-duty U.S. Army husband, she has grown her eDiscovery expertise as an attorney working on a wide range of complex commercial litigation, investigations, antitrust, construction disputes, while collar, and HSR 2nd requests.  Lisa’s unique journey helped her cultivate an unparalleled expertise in harnessing technology to elevate the practice of law.

She regularly advises clients and Gilbert practice teams on eDiscovery disputes, information governance, data privacy, data migrations, defensible deletion/document retention policies, mobile devices, emerging data challenges (including ephemeral messaging), FRCP best practices, TAR workflows, and managed review.

Committed to knowledge sharing, Lisa periodically lends her expertise as an adjunct professor at William & Mary Law, feeding her passion for demystifying legal technology.
